Interactive Media Design, a study of the interactive world.

Interactive Media Design is a gigantic cluster of opportunities to express your creativity because it is involved with just about everything. Daily routines and functions all revolve around interactivity. Think of the random things you do on a daily basis. Taking out the trash, brushing your teeth, these are all things that require some form of interaction. Your hands and back are used to jerk out the stuffed bag of trash from a puny little plastic tub underneath your sink. The palms of your hands and your fingers are used to move your toothbrush in and out of your mouth to keep those teeth mighty white. It's easy to take this simple level of interaction for granted, but it's the foundation of interactivity that has evolved into the digital media world

This major represents creativity at its best. It’s a universal major that will work with all other things and give the maximum impact to your viewer’s using interaction. This is because all other majors can somehow be advertised or used within this major. Interactive Media Design is based on information and design. So if you’re a Game Art and Design person and you wish to join IMD and still keep your interests, all you have to do is center your design on your interests. Your creativity is always going to revolve around what your good at, so if your good at games, your work will reflect upon that.

I believe that my presentation conveyed these concepts of IMD to the best of my abilities. It allowed my audience to take in what Interactive Media Design is all about as well as gaining some new information about how my major is already incorporated into their daily lives.
